The wand holster is now a more generic holster which can hold wands and missile weapons, and every hero will now start the game with a bag. Because of this, I’ve decided to ditch my previous stance and adjust some elements of how bags work. This ignored the reality that people can just drop items on the floor and come back for them later though, which means limited inventory is more annoying than anything else. Previously, I wanted to ensure inventory space had some serious limitations, with the intention that people would want to manage what they take with them. One small thing I hope to improve in 0.6.4 is inventory management. With that in mind, 0.6.4 is focused on adding a bit of new content, and making a few fixes and improvements to some existing things which need it. In order to achieve that, I’m going to start releasing more smaller updates in between large ones, rather than releasing nothing for up to 3 or 4 months.

What’s Coming in Shattered Pixel Dungeon v0.6.4Ġ.6.4 is coming along nicely, so I thought I’d share some of the things in development! Initially I had planned to go straight to 0.7.0, but one thing I really want to focus on this year is releasing updates more consistently.
